So…
my dog thinks it’s a great idea for me to not work today and just play around with him.
If you wanna get it bigtime, go ahead and get it get it big time.
…Until you just can’t give no more.

Only a few good shots came out. :( Sort of sad that I didn’t bring my SLR along on this trip. On the brighter side, I had lots of fun and The National was so good

Depression always hit during New Years, not because of the goodbyes to a wonderful year before it, but because it signals the coming of my birthday. Don’t get me wrong, I love birthdays as much as the next person does, but I just hate the idea of adding another year to my age. Yes, age is only a number, but I really think I do have this irrational fear of getting old. (No, I don’t have anything against old people, you silly!)
So Imagine my joy when Myra E sent me a wonderful package with their products… I knew I had to include Vitamin E in my skin regimen and diet soon! I immediately used their VitaWhite moisturizer, as I am in dire need of a moisturizer with SPF on it. I actually like using this one because it is very light and is immediately absorbed by the skin. Also, the SPF 15 is a big plus. Yes, it is not that high, as some people would like it to be, but it is great for that quick morning commute to the office.
During the rest of the day, when my skin feels a bit oily (I have combination skin - leaning towards oily) I put on Myra E face powder. I love how it looks natural on my skin and it does help get rid of the oiliness during the rest of the day. I was actually a bit skeptical with using this powder, because they only have 2 available shades and was not sure if it would blend well with my skin. Surprisingly, it does! What I also love is that it does cover up some blemishes and/or redness on my skin. And like the moisturizer, it has SPF!
Everyday, after a long day of work, I do take a 400 I.U. of Myra-E. I would highly recommend Myra 400-E because it is the Natural Vitamin E and is supposed to be more effective than the synthetic ones. It is a bit more expensive, but I guess it is a small price to pay for all the benefits of Vitamin E. After taking it for a quite a while now, I do notice that I have more energy and my skin does feel and look better (and a bit rosier, if I may add.)

After using these products for a while now, I can’t really imagine life without them now (That’s bit dramatic, don’t you think? haha!) But yes, I have seen some great changes on my skin and would definitely be sticking to using Myra E products! I know these won’t definitely stop aging, but atleast it would help me age a bit more gracefully!

I was staring at my wee shoe rack when I heard it beg for a new pair of shoes. (Yes, I do make pretend conversations with inanimate objects when I’m alone. And no, I don’t have a mental illness.) Come to think of it, I don’t remember the last time that I bought shoes. So I guess, I’ll give in to my shoe rack’s request.
I have actually been lusting over 2 pairs of shoes from Jeffrey Campbell and the one above (Foxy) is one of them. As if on cue, I got an email from AVA (www.ava.ph) that they will be having a limited time Jeffrey Campbell Pre-sale from July 08 to July 22 - and a raffle to boot: Invite as many friends as you can and win a pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes! Which brings me to the next point of this post: If anyone wants to help me win, ask me for an invite. I kid… I kid, but if you can find it in your heart to help me, then I won’t stop you. la la la la la~~
P.S. I realised that I can’t quite draw shoes for the life of me. It took me a while to actually make the drawing above look decent! Talk about lack of practice…
