On irrational fear of getting old.
Depression always hit during New Years, not because of the goodbyes to a wonderful year before it, but because it signals the coming of my birthday. Of a pair of shoes and a sale.
I was staring at my wee shoe rack when I heard it beg for a new pair of shoes. (Yes, I do make pretend conversations with inanimate objects when I’m alone. And no, I don’t have a mental illness.) Come to think of it, I don’t remember the last time that I bought shoes. So I guess, I’ll give in to my shoe rack’s request.

Sketchbook # 1
I’m not really the person who would have a sketchbook, because I do just tend to draw on pages of my planner or on random pieces of paper. However, recently I have felt the need to see my progress on using markers for colouring.
Not too keen with the inking on the last one, but I reckon I only need pens with finer tips. I only have .5 here now: I really do need to go on an art supply...

Out of sorts
I’ve been telling myself to master the art of planning these past few weeks. You see, every year I get myself a planner, in hopes of me finally scribbling everything that I need to do. Well, it remains a distant dream, with cramming as my inevitable partner-in-crime and sleep as a distant memory.
At least my corkboard is ~somewhat~ organized. Ha!
(And oh, a much-needed vacation coming...

Overall, it was a pleasant morning.
Good Morning!
Had ‘Otap’ (a flaky-type of biscuit) and green tea with lemon for breakfast.
I have been sick these past few days and have recently been reduced to crawling on the floor as a means of transportation. I’m taking medicines but the weather is not really cooperating with my immune system. *sigh* At least I have this feel-good book to accompany me for the meantime.
